If you use self-booking, you can put a price on a session type and collect payment the moment a client books — or bill them later.
You'll need
Self-booking turned on (Pro / Pro Plus) and, to charge at booking, a charge-ready Stripe account.
Price a session type
- Go to Settings and open your self-booking session types.
- Set a price on the type.
- Under How to collect, choose one:
- Charge at booking — the client pays through Stripe Checkout before the slot is confirmed.
- Bill later — the slot is booked right away and the session is marked Unpaid for you to collect.
What the client sees
On a "charge at booking" type, the booking button reads Reserve & pay. The client is taken to Stripe to pay; once payment succeeds, the booking is confirmed and drops onto your calendar as Paid. If they abandon checkout, the held slot is released so someone else can book it.
Not charge-ready yet?
If you set "Charge at booking" before finishing Stripe setup, the type safely falls back to Bill later — the client can still book, and you collect afterward.
