Create a performance test

Define a test you measure — its unit and whether higher or lower is better.

Last updated July 14, 2026

Performance tests are the measurements you track over a season — a 40m dash, a vertical jump, a mile time. You build your own; nothing comes pre-loaded.

Plan

Performance tests, results, goals, and personal bests are included on every plan.

Create a test

  1. Open Performance from the menu — it opens the Tests tab — and choose New test.
  2. Give it a name (e.g. "40m Dash").
  3. Set a unit — pick a suggestion (sec, in, reps, lbs…) or type your own. It's just a label.
  4. Choose Better score is: Lower (faster times and agility — smaller is a PR) or Higher (jumps, lifts, reps — bigger is a PR).
  5. Add an optional description — how the test is run, setup, cues — then Save test.

Edit or archive a test

Tests are shared across your organization, so any coach can record against them. Edit a test any time, or Archive one you've retired — archived tests are hidden when recording new results but keep every result already logged, and you can Restore them. Tests are never hard-deleted, so history stays intact.
