How attendance rates are counted

What counts toward the rate, and why a session might not appear.

A quick guide to how RapidCoach turns your marks into the attendance rate on reports — so the numbers make sense.

How the rate is worked out

An athlete's attendance rate is the share of their marked sessions where they showed up — both Present and Late count as attended. Only Absent lowers the rate.

Late still counts as there

A habitually-late athlete can still show a high rate — because they did attend. Use the Late totals and late-minutes to see the punctuality pattern separately.

Why a session might not be in the report

  • Only sessions you've marked count — an unmarked session isn't in the totals yet.
  • Parked (to-reschedule) sessions are set aside and aren't counted until they're back on the calendar and marked.
  • Deleting a session removes its attendance. If you'll re-run it, park it instead.
