Before RapidCoach sends anyone a text, they have to opt in. This protects families — and you — and it's required. Imported contacts are never texted automatically.
Invite a family to opt in
- Open an athlete's profile and find the Contacts card.
- Choose Invite to texts. RapidCoach emails the parent or guardian a link — it never texts them to ask.
- They open the link, confirm their mobile number, and check the consent box. Once they agree, they're opted in.
Guardian-first for minors
For a minor athlete, consent comes from the parent or guardian, not the athlete. An adult athlete — or a minor a guardian has authorized — can opt in for themselves.
Where families opt in
- From the parent portal — the same passwordless parent access used for the schedule.

Consent is recorded
RapidCoach stores each person's consent and only ever texts contacts whose status is opted in. Consent is never a condition of using RapidCoach.
