STOP, HELP, and opt-outs

How recipients opt out, get help, and reach you — texting is one-way.

RapidCoach honors standard texting keywords automatically, so families are always in control of what they receive.

STOP and HELP

  • A recipient can reply STOP at any time to opt out. RapidCoach stops texting them right away and records the opt-out — no further texts are sent.
  • Replying START opts them back in; HELP returns help information.

Every text RapidCoach sends already includes STOP instructions and your organization's name, so recipients always know who it's from and how to stop.

Texting is one-way

Replies other than STOP, START, and HELP aren't monitored. If a parent, guardian, or athlete needs to respond, they contact you directly using your normal contact info. For minors, texting is parent- and guardian-first.

Reaching everyone

Anyone who opts out — or never opted in — can still get the same updates by email. Text is an extra channel, never the only one.
