Your monthly plan is the fee for the software itself. Taking payments is optional — and you only pay transaction fees when you actually collect money.
The two fees
When a client pays you online:
- Stripe's processing fee — Stripe's standard rate (about 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction), billed to you directly by Stripe.
- RapidCoach's fee — a flat 1% of the payment, on top of Stripe's fee.
The short version
You pay Stripe's standard processing fee directly, and RapidCoach adds 1% on top. Your subscription is the base software fee, and there are no transaction fees at all unless you take a payment.
An example
On a $100 session paid by card, Stripe takes roughly $3.20 (2.9% + 30¢) and RapidCoach takes $1.00 (1%), so about $95.80 lands in your account. Exact Stripe fees depend on the card and are set by Stripe.
Refunds
You can refund a payment from your Stripe dashboard, and RapidCoach updates the session or plan automatically. See Refunds and payment status.
