Roles: owner, admin, and coach

What each role can see and do.

Everyone on a team has a role that sets what they can manage.

The three roles

  • Owner — the person who created the organization. Full control; there's always exactly one.
  • Admin — full management alongside the owner: invite and manage coaches, see and manage every athlete, and build groups.
  • Coach — manages their own calendar and athletes: the athletes they add, athletes marked shared, and athletes in a group assigned to them. Coaches don't see the invite tools.

Shared vs. private

  • Athletes, categories, groups, drills, and practices are shared across the org.
  • Calendars are per coach — each coach sees and manages only their own sessions.
  • Control who sees which athletes with the shared flag and group assignments — see control who can see each athlete.

Set at invite time

A coach's role is chosen when you send their invite. Changing a role, or removing a coach after they've joined, isn't available in the app yet.

Lost a device?

An owner or admin can reset a coach's two-factor from the Coaches page if they're locked out.
